I've had friends like that - they're oblivious to the ways that they are obnoxious. I think you did the best thing by telling her no, though.

I'm not sure she's actually oblivious, considering how she says sorry all the time. She just doesn't get the hints, and now I kind of dropped the bomb and things just suck.
